Music Fusion is one of 24 Youth Music Action Zones in England and Wales, providing music-making activities for young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Music Fusion will help Fareham Philharmonic Society to develop and promote the youth choir in the Fareham area.

 

Portchester Community School is a Specialist Performing Arts College with a proven reputation for quality in all Curriculum subjects.  Fareham Philarmonic Choir will use school resources for youth choir rehearsal and performance and will support the Portchester Music Festival. 

Aqualung came to prominence with their top-ten hit 'Strange and Beautiful' in 2002, since then the singer-songwriter Matt hales has developed a successful recording career.  Aqualung has released three albums in the UK and worldwide.  Matt Hales will help develop the songwriting skills of young people in Fareham by running workshops and helping to judge a songwriting competition.
