Fareham in Harmony sing Carols by Candlelight

On 15 December 2007 Fareham in Harmony joined Fareham Philharmonic Choir in their annual carol concert in Holy Trinity Church.

The young singers sang four pieces solo and joined the adults in a memorable performance of Star Carol by John Rutter.

Review -  Young singers get them 'rocking in the aisles'

This was a fine performance by the young singers - greatly appreciated by the enthusiastic audience of about 250 people in Holy Trinity Church. Councillor Mrs Katrina Trott commented very favourably on the quality of their singing and on the enthusiasm of the young singers.  She complimented Fareham Philharmonic Choir for their initiative in creating the choir and offering young people in Fareham the opportunity to develop their musical skills.

The performance of Roy Wood's hit song had many audience members singing along - and dancing was seen on the balcony!

Rehearsal reports - November - December 2007

Another very busy period for the young singers - as well as preparing the music for the concert the young people found time to design an excellent logo.
